The mission of the Sheffield Volunteer Fire Department is to safeguard lives, property, and the environment within Sheffield Township. This objective is realized through the suppression and investigation of fires, enforcement of fire codes, delivery of life-safety education programs, rescue operations for individuals in peril, management of hazardous materials incidents, mitigation of the impacts of natural disasters, and offering first responder services to those facing potentially life-threatening medical emergencies.
